I'm Josh.
I’m a 20-year-old freelance graphic designer living in the scenic, hilly North of England. I’m also a devout Christian, happily married, and entirely in love with design. You’ll probably find me at church, out for a run, listening to music, or enjoying a movie night with my wife when I'm not creating.
People often ask why I married young. The simple answer is that I found the one person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, and I saw no reason to wait.
It's funny; I never intended to become a graphic designer. My original plan was quite different. I wanted to pursue 3D design, mathematics, and business, aiming to study architecture at university. But my Mum had other ideas. She suggested I take up graphic design instead. Naturally, I tried to talk her out of it, convinced that architecture was my true path. But as Mums often do, she persisted.
Eventually, I gave in and swapped maths for graphics. At the time, I still believed I’d come back to architecture. Fast-forward to today, and I am a passionate, aspiring freelance brand designer.
I guess all I have to say is thanks Mum!
